Would you like to enhance your outdoor space with birdboxes, bee hotels, dens or even have nature experts head into your school or early years settings? Yes? Then you’ll definitely want to apply for funding via the Local School Nature Grants from Learning Through Landscapes.
All schools and early years settings in England, Scotland and Wales can apply for £500 of outdoor learning equipment and free staff training from their team of experts. The first round date for grant submissions is Friday 29th April 2022.
You can find out more about the grants here.
The aim of the project is to make it easy to get young people in touch with nature, so the application process is quick and straightforward. If successful you will be able to mix and match items from a product catalogue of hundreds of items, up to the value of £500. The packages offer a wide mix of products to appeal to a broad range of ages, are customisable, enabling Infant, Primary and Secondary schools.
You will be able to select a training topic from a range of themes. Their skilled staff, all of whom have teaching or education backgrounds, will then deliver an engaging session for your staff, for up to half a day.
Good luck with your applications.
Warmly
