Featured In – Making play a priority after lockdown with Education Business Magazine

During my visits to schools over the past few months, it’s very apparent that many schools are finding playtimes ‘chaotic’ following the relaxation of bubbles. We know that playtime in schools has been identified as an opportunity to support children’s recovery from the Covid-19 lockdown, so it’s more important than ever to make sure that playtimes run as smoothly as possible.

At the beginning of the academic year I was featured in Education Business Magazine, regarding how to make play a priority in schools after the lockdown, which includes some ready to implement tips and advice taken from my Positive Playtime Programme.

I’ve recently worked with a number of schools on my Positive Playtime Programme, including Harrowgate Hill in Darlington who’ve noticed a profound change in their play times since impleming my advice. “Our playtimes have vastly improved, behaviour incidents have massively reduced, as have playtime accidents, communication is excellent, and staff are working together as a team. The Positive Playtime Programme has been transformative.”
